As a child my favorite TV programs were Lassie and Rin Tin Tin.  Every Saturday my dad and I would walk to the end of the block and buy some JuJuBees in the corner grocery store.  I carefully saved them and made them last through those two Sunday programs.  My idea of heaven!

And it was the beginning of my life with dogs, cats and assorted other animals, including my current shaggy “owner,” Benny.  Luckily my love of animals is shared by my daughter who owns a little farm in the mountains, where I get to visit my adorable “grandkids,” her regular additions of baby goats to the family.
